Obituary for Beth Ann Chapman

Beth Ann Chapman

Beth Ann Chapman, age 56, of St. Paul, passed away on February 4, 2023.

Beth “Banny” was born to parents, Harvey and Eileen (Foss) Chapman on September 10, 1966 in Edina, MN, before moving to Montgomery in 1970. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery, MN. She graduated from Montgomery-Lonsdale High School in 1985 and attended St. Cloud State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

Beth was an adventurous individual who lived and worked in Santa Barbara, New Orleans (where she co-owned a restaurant) and Chicago, prior to moving to St. Paul around 2000 to be closer to family. Beth worked in medical equipment sales and with her intellect and out-going personality, won many top sales awards in her field.
She had a kind heart and was a very giving individual that donated to many organizations. She was comfortable in the kitchen and was both an exceptional cook and baker that started her own appetizer company. Beth enjoyed spending time with family, especially at the cabin and the farm. She loved a good pair of shoes or purse, any and all board games, dark chocolate, reading a good book, and The Wizard of Oz movie. Beth’s absolute greatest joy were all of her nieces and nephews who she loved to spoil, attending all of their activities and hosting movie night sleepovers at her house. She was a loving and dedicated caretaker to her mother and father.

Beth was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen.

She is survived by her father, Harvey; siblings, Michael (Carrie) Chapman, New Prague, MN, Lisa (Troy) Kruse, Stillwater, MN, and Jeff (Beth) Chapman, New Prague, MN; nine nieces and nephews, Emma, Sophie and Mark Chapman, Trey, Selena and Jaslyn Kruse, Lain and Jack Chapman and James Lincoln. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Funeral services are pending and will be held at St. John Lutheran Church when all of her nieces and nephews are able to come home from the military and college.

Arrangements are with the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. 507-357-6116. On-line condolences may be left at www.schoenbauerfuneralhome.com.
