Sandra Marie Vlasak, age 64 of Montgomery passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Mayo Hospital Mankato. Private family services will be held. The family would like to extend a huge thank you for the incredible care she received from Mayo staff.

Sandra was born on April 13, 1960 in New Prague to Venda and Helen (Kovarik) Soulek. She attended Le Center High School and graduated from Chaska High School. She worked various jobs throughout her life including Slumberland Furniture, Goldsmith Eye Dr., for Dr. Schmidt in Montgomery, and United Steel. She enjoyed vacationing to the Northshore, fairy gardens, a wonderful cook, was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Izzy. Sandra was very involved in Kolacky Days and Women of Today in the past.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Mark Vlasak of Montgomery; children, Jacob (Rachel) Vlasak of Mankato, and Stacy (Joseph) Krenik of Montgomery; grandchildren, Alivia and Ava Krenik; Marysol and Vim Aguillon; siblings, Terri Knish, Peggy (Jim) Donovan, and Wendy Denny; brothers and sisters-in law, JoAnn (Dutch) Dawson, Gordon (Kristin) Vlasak, Richard (Liz) Vlasak, Kurt (Colleen) Vlasak, Pat Vlasak, June Vosejpka, and Melinda Vlasak.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Venda and Helen Soulek; parents-in-law, Alvin and Rita Vlasak; brothers-in-law, Emil Knish, Greg Vlasak, and Vic Denny; her dog, Lexi.
