Dale Alan Johnson

DALE ALAN JOHNSON, age 51 of St. Peter, died unexpectedly on the morning of Sunday, September 27, 2026 at River’s Edge Hospital in St. Peter.

Dale was born on May 31, 1975 to parents Terry Sabotta and Marla Johnson. He attended school in Le Center before entering his working life. In 2005 Dale was married to Jessica Hartley in Le Center. Although they later divorced in 2019, Dale was incredibly proud to have been married and to have built such a beautiful family. His children were the source of Dale’s pride throughout his life. Over the years Dale held various jobs including working in print and delivery for The House of Printing in Madelia and for the Mankato Free Press in Mankato.

Dale is survived by his children Jonathon Baker of Good Thunder, Jaxson Avery of Mankato, Savannah Johnson of Mankato, and Ayden Johnson of Mankato; two siblings, Amber (Wally) Denzer of New Prague, and Matthew Sabotta of Montgomery; a niece, Lauryn Denzer of New Prague; and a nephew, Tyson Denzer of New Prague. He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Marlene and Stanton Johnson; an uncle, Bruce Johnson; and both of his parents.

A public service to share memories will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2026 at the Le Center Chapel of Schoenbauer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
