Douglas Lukes

Douglas Lukes, age 65, of Le Center, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Carriage House in Le Center. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17 from 9:30 am – 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center, with Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 am. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center at a later date.

Doug was born on May 11, 1957 in St. Peter, MN to Donald and Arlene (Budin) Lukes. Doug was a graduate of Le Center High School. He was a construction worker and retired in 2012 from Southern Minnesota Construction Company. Doug was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping & sitting by the fire.

Doug is survived by his brothers, Darryl Lukes (Becky Oines) of Montgomery and Dennis (Christine) Lukes of Nicollet; nephews, Corey Steuven and Marcus Lukes; nieces, Kele Lukes and Kandace Busbea.

Doug is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dale and a sister in infancy.
