Grace C. Dobmeier

Grace C. Dobmeier, 72, of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Visitation will be Saturday, April 6 from 9am to 11am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am with Father Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will be held at St. John Catholic Cemetery in rural Montgomery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

Grace was born on June 30, 1946 in New Prague to John and Mary (Simota) Pomije. Grace graduated from New Prague High School. Grace was united in marriage to Anthony “Sonny” Dobmeier on October 17, 1970 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague. Grace was employed at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake for many years. Grace enjoyed working, cleaning, baking, flower/ vegetable gardening, all Minnesota sports, letting people win at cards, socializing, dancing, especially loved checking in on all her childrens lives.

Grace is survived by her children, Lisa Dobmeier (Greg Schmidt) of Le Center, Tony (Melissa) Dobmeier of Le Center, and Terry Dobmeier of Montgomery; grandchildren, Alex, John, Hailey, Cameron, Calob, and Rylyn; sister, JoAnn Petricka of Montgomery.

Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; parents; sisters, Janet Novotny, Marion Flicek, and Dorothy Shimota; many brother and sister-in-laws.
