LeAnn C. Loney

LeAnn C. Loney passed away peacefully on December 4 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd, Minnesota, with her family by her side. She was born on October 11, 1949, in St. Peter, Minnesota, to Walter and Elaine (Luker) Miller, and was the eldest of five children.

LeAnn grew up in Le Center alongside her younger brothers and graduated from Le Center High School in 1968. In 1968, she married her beloved husband, Joseph “Joe” Loney. Together, they shared 47 years of marriage before Joe’s passing in 2015.

LeAnn and Joe owned and operated LCL Electronics in Baxter, Minnesota, working side by side to build both a successful business and a life together. In her earlier years, LeAnn was an avid flower gardener and enjoyed creating beautiful spaces in and around her home.

Her greatest joy was her family, and she cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Allan (Sandy) Loney, Steven (Willow) Loney, and Annette (Derrick) Harkins; her grandchildren Victoria (Avery) Ramos, Alex Harkins, and Joseph, Sawyer, and Olivia Loney; and her great-granddaughter, Emery Ramos.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Loney. She is survived by her brothers: Don (Kathy) Miller, Glen (Gayle) Miller, Stan (Renata) Miller, and Tom (Karin) Miller.

We will be having a cemetery service out at Cordova cemetery. Time of service will be 4pm August 1st.
