Michael Thomas Eugene Lundon

MICHAEL THOMAS EUGENE LUNDON, age 85, of St. Peter, MN, died peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025, surrounded by family, at Rivers Edge Hospital in St. Peter.

Born on August 16, 1939, in Gary, Minnesota, he was the son of David and Mary (Cahalan) Lundon. At the age of 18, Mike enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country from 1957 until his honorable discharge in 1960. Following his honorable discharge, Mike studied at the Northwestern School of Agriculture in Crookston. On January 14, 1961, Mike was united in marriage to Mary Tousley at St. Anne Catholic Church in Le Sueur. Together they lived in Crookston for a short time before raising their family in Le Center and ultimately moving to St. Peter. Mike and Mary shared 61 years of marriage before Mary passed away on February 22, 2022.

Mike worked at Hiniker in Mankato where he eventually became the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In 2010, he started the Lundon Sales Company, representing various agricultural manufacturers including Hiniker. He retired in 2017. Mike was active in his community as a member of the VFW, Knights of Columbus, and American Legion, where he served as Past Commander. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, attending sporting events and in retirement, spending the winters in Texas and Florida. Mike loved his family and was known by his grandchildren as "Pa". He will be remembered as a loving and simple man who was a friend to all.

Mike is survived by his children: Michelle Lundon Fox of Cleveland, OH, Karen Lundon of Minneapolis, and Mic Lundon of Naples, FL; grandchildren: Elizabeth Fox, Bill Fox, Reese Lundon, and Brynn Lundon; sister, Florence (Jack) Donaldson of Apple Valley, CA; sisters-in-law: Eleanor Lundon of Crookston, Doris Lundon of Bemidji, and Rose Tousley of Henderson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; granddaughter, Annie Francis Lundon; brothers: Dave (Doris), Jim (Eleanor) and John (Joy deceased) Lundon; sister in infancy; sister-in-law, Betty (Jack) Hollenbach; brother-in-law, Sid Tousley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sid and Marcella (Coulter) Tousley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Church of the Nativity in Cleveland. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM and continue until the time of the service at the church on Tuesday. Military Honors will be provided by the Le Center Honor Guard.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Le Sueur County Sheriff's Youth Project.
