Rose Mary Pelowski

Rose Mary Pelowski, 80 of Jordan, formerly of Montgomery and Lexington died on Saturday, August 29, 2015. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan with visitation one hour prior at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lexington.

Rosie was born on June 8, 1935 in New Prague to James and Anna (Madera) Bastyr. She graduated from New Prague High School. She was united in marriage to Anthony Pelowski on October 11, 1958 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague. Rose enjoyed playing cards, bingo, watching TV game shows, soaps and puzzles.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Pelowski of Montgomery, Jim (Charlotte) Pelowski of Lexington and Maggie Pelowski of Montgomery; grandchildren, Jennifer (Greg) Simon, Amber Lambrecht and Krystal Lambrecht; great-grandson, Tyson Berg; and brother, Maynard (Lil) Bastyr of Jordan.

Rosie is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Pelowski; parents; and sister, Anne Fierst.
