SHIRLEY (CHADDERDON) HRDLICKA, age 96 of Le Center, died Friday, June 6, 2025, at Traditions of Montgomery.

She was born on September 8, 1928, in Le Sueur County. She was the daughter of William and Albina (Minar) Chadderdon. She attended Le Center High School and would marry Lyle Hrdlicka on July 21, 1947, though they later divorced. Family was most important to Shirley, raising and providing for her eight children was always her priority and being there for them was something she held dearly all her life. She worked many years, most recently at Onan in St. Peter. She enjoyed visiting with her friends, sewing, crocheting, puzzles, thrift shopping and tending to her flowers. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center.

She is survived by her children, George Hrdlicka, Clifford (Sueann) Hrdlicka, Gregory Hrdlicka, Paulette Dieckmann, Michael (Renea) Hrdlicka, Annette (Kelvin) Lee, Anthony Hrdlicka; grandchildren, Heidi (Eric) Friese, Scott Hrdlicka, Christopher (Melissa) Dieckmann, Bradley (Mary) Hrdlicka, Rebecca Hrdlicka, Ethan Lee, Tomas Lee, Cassandra (Brady Mervin) Hrdlicka, Michele (Gary) Novotny, Angie (Brad) Bosacker, Michael Peterson, Bradley Peterson; great-grandchildren, Meagan Long, Matthew Friese, Alex Hrdlicka, Caleb Dieckmann, Cooper Dieckmann, Madison Hrdlicka, Evelyn Hrdlicka, Alexander Hrdlicka, Evan Slama, Victoria Slama, Lydia Slama, Alexis Lara, Trevor Novotny, Trent Novotny, Kyle Bosacker, Alexander Bosacker, Joshua Bosacker, Garet Peterson, Jacob Peterson and Ava Peterson; great-great grand-children, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her longtime companion Edmund Miller, her parents; son, Eric Hrdlicka; sisters, Kathryn (Marshall) Hughes and Lorraine (Merritt) Davis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. In Lieu of Flowers, please make contributions to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center.
